Aloha Isle Review

Name: Aloha Isle

Location: Adventureland

Serves: Frozen Treats

Description:

Aloha Isle: Dole out a smile with the much sought-after soft-serve delight known as DOLE WHIP—a popular frozen treat blended in pineapple, vanilla or swirled flavors. Frosty floats, fresh pineapple spears and soft drinks are also available.

Our Take:

Aloha Isle is a no brainer stop for anyone visiting Magic Kingdom. If you’ve never had a Dole Whip you’ve at least heard of them before. This dreamy pineapple ice cream (that nobody can stop thinking about) is a staple to the park and should always be on your list of stops to make.

Currently Aloha Isle serves up Dole Whip soft serve ice cream done either in a cup or in a float. The float is the pineapple ice cream in pineapple juice. For the simpleton the cup is just the ice cream with no juice. You really can’t go wrong with either one. Also on the menu is a pineapple upside down cake served with your choice of pineapple ice cream, vanilla ice cream or swirl on top. It sounds intense and it is but it’s sooooo good.

One other snack we love to get at Aloha Isle is the pineapple spears. These are long thick cuts of juicy pineapple stuck on a spear and wrapped up. Just be super careful when you have one because they are addicting. Really everything at Aloha Isle is.

Tips:

  1. Because the line here can get long try coming between the hours of 10am to 11am or 2pm and 4pm. Typically the line is much shorter then.
  2. This is one quick service location you can also purchase drinks including bottles of water. You can also get just pineapple juice if you’re feeling really healthy or don’t want something too sweet.
