California Adventure

California Adventure, originally called Disney’s California Adventure Park, opened in 2001 and was renamed to Disney California Adventure in 2010. Surprisingly, it was built in the old Disneyland parking lot. As a beloved addition to Disneyland, it has five areas that feature the culture, history, and famous sites of California. While it still showcases the flair of California, it also includes some favorite Disney and Pixar characters. The five areas are Cars Land, Pixar Pier, Grizzly Peak, Hollywood Land, and soon, Avengers Campus, which will replace A Bug’s Land. Avengers Campus will have new attractions including Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure, Avengers Headquarters, and Sanctum, a Doctor Strange special eects show. There are so many new rides and attractions to look forward to! What will you add to your must-see list? You can purchase discounted tickets to California Adventure here.
