Fantasyland

Fantasyland was one of the original lands open on Disneyland’s Opening Day. It is one of the most kid-friendly sections of the park, but is nostalgic for adults. The majority of Fantasyland rides do not have a FASTPASS. Fantasyland closes early every night for the firework show. Fantasyland is home to the iconic Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. Be sure to visit the walkthrough area of the castle; it will lead you through the fairytale of Sleeping Beauty. Fantasyland is a great place to interact with your surroundings and explore. Let your children try to pull the sword from the stone in front of the King Arthur Carrousel—some lucky children will pull it out! Fantasyland is the best place to meet your favorite movie characters at Pixie Hollow, the Princesses Royal Hall, or walking around the park. Fantasyland has plenty of places to eat and rest tired feet.

Age Group: Young Kids, Tweens, Teens, Adults
Park Characteristics: Fantasyland feels distinctly European and whimsical. Fantasyland has the most rides of any land in the park, making it a perfect place to spend a large amount of time with younger kids or tweens. Since the rides are condensed, there is less walking between rides.
Events: Fireworks, Parades, Character meet-and-greet, Storytelling at Royal Theatre shows, Mickey and the Magical Map show, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
