LEGOLAND Florida Resort
LEGOLAND Florida Resort is a family-friendly, 150-acre theme park located in Winter Haven, Florida, approximately 48 miles northeast of Orlando. LEGOLAND Florida consists of its famous theme park with twelve unique lands, the LEGOLAND Florida Water Park, the LEGOLAND Hotel, the brand new Pirate Island Hotel, and the Beach Retreat hotel (located just 0.5 miles away).
With more than 50 rides, shows, and attractions, LEGOLAND Florida is the perfect resort destination where kids and parents alike can see their favorite toys come to life. Come see familiar travel destinations made entirely out of legos at Miniland USA including the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, downtown Las Vegas, Hollywood Boulevard and more. Also be sure to wave hello at the full-sized LEGO model of Darth Vader, or the less ominous models of Emmet and Lucy from The LEGO Movie! If you’re looking to add to your LEGO collection, visit the Factory Store for an enormous selection of both pre-boxed LEGO sets and individual bricks.
LEGOLAND Florida is built on what used to be the Cypress Botanical Gardens theme park. For parents wanting a break from the hustle and bustle of tourist activities, LEGOLAND Florida has a unique garden area for kids to explore.
Age Group: This park is designed to entertain families with young children ages 2-12. Many teenagers will not enjoy the rides, activities, and shows because they are geared towards a younger audience.
Park Characteristics: LEGOLAND Florida Resort is a magical place where childrens’ imaginations run wild. The park includes Miniland USA, thousands of LEGO models to see, hands-on activities with LEGOS, and a variety of rides for kids and their parents to enjoy. LEGOLAND Florida is known to be more relaxing, with smaller crowds and shorter wait times, than its neighbors Disney World and Universal Orlando.
Events: Events include PirateFest Weekends, LEGO Friends Weekends, Red, White & BOOM, LEGO NINJAGO Days, and Heroes Weekend.
