Universal’s Volcano Bay

As Univeral’s only waterpark, Volcano Bay is built for thrills and plunges. With so many dierent waterslides and raft rides, you’re sure to get an adrenaline rush. There’s also a lazy river, pools, restaurants, and kids play areas for children. Consider staying at a Universal Orlando Resort for early access and free transportation to Volcano Bay. This park is closed during the winter—from November 2 to March 1.

Age Group: Young Kids, Tweens, Teens, Adults
Park Characteristics: The park sits at the base of the Krakatau volcano and is inspired by the South Pacific Islands. From body plunges to raft rides that look like a half-pipe, you’ll find something that will send your heart racing. For those who’d rather chill than chase thrills, there’s a lazy river, a wave pool, and plenty of lounge chairs. You can even rent a Cabana Unit for your family for a large fee. Little kids can enjoy Runamukka Reef and Tot Tiki Reef—play areas with kid-sized waterslides and spraying fountains.
