NEW Wreck-It Ralph Themed Ride Coming to Tokyo Disneyland

Oriental Land Co., Ltd. has announced plans to bring a new Wreck-It Ralph themed attraction to Tomorrowland at Tokyo Disneyland Park, scheduled to open in fiscal year 2026 or later. The new attraction will be an indoor interactive gaming experience suitable for all ages. It will replace the existing Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters ride, which will undergo a complete thematic transformation based on the world of the Disney animated film Wreck-It Ralph.

Wreck-It Ralph is a 2012 Disney movie that follows the story of Ralph, a video game villain who embarks on an adventure to prove he can be a hero. Along the way, he teams up with the glitch character Vanellope von Schweetz from the candy-themed racing game Sugar Rush. In the new attraction, guests will enter the Sugar Rush game world under attack by “Sugar Bugs” – glitches created by the villain King Candy.

Teaming up with Ralph and Vanellope, guests will help transform these bugs back into adorable confections like cookies and cakes through an interactive gaming experience. Guests can look forward to immersing themselves in the vibrant candy world of Sugar Rush while enjoying a thrilling adventure alongside beloved characters from Wreck-It Ralph.
