After a long hiatus, the Disneyland Resorts trams will finally be returning February 23rd. The trams, which transport guests from the Mickey and Friends and Pixar Pals parking structures to the end of Downtown Disney and gate area for both parks, has been closed since COVID forced the resort to close in early 2020. Guests who have been parking in the structure have had to walk the almost mile long road to get to the park gates.
Upon reopening the trams will carry guests with no COVID restrictions including mask or social distancing. They will operate normally. Guests have seen Cast Members driving the trams up and down the road in anticipation of them reopening.
The trams will run from before park opening till after park closing to help guests get back to their parked vehicles. No official hours have been announced yet.
