Breaking news for one of Disney’s most anticipated attractions: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is officially opening Memorial Day weekend at EPCOT.
The coaster, which has seen several delays due to Covid, is Disney’s first-ever reverse launch roller coaster. It’s also the worlds largest indoor coaster to ever open.
Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Geoff Morrell broke the news on Twitter:
The tweet has since been deleted. The new attraction replaces Ellen’s Energy Adventure which closed several years ago to make way for the new ride.
