Universal Orlando Resort has unveiled exciting details about one of the highly anticipated lands coming to their newest theme park, Epic Universe – the How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk. This massive area, inspired by the beloved DreamWorks Animation film franchise, promises to immerse guests in the rugged, Viking world where dragons and humans coexist in hilarious harmony.

Developed in partnership with the filmmakers from DreamWorks Animation and Universal Pictures, the Isle of Berk will transport visitors to an authentic recreation of the iconic island. Guests visiting Berk will encounter one of the most breathtaking environments Universal has ever created,” the resort stated. “Everywhere they look within the bustling village, they’ll find endless activity – from active dragons in their natural habitats and sheep attempting to disguise themselves as Terrible Terror dragons to sporadic bouts of fire.”

Here, guests can control the intensity of their experience, performing high-flying, gravity-defying maneuvers and barrel rolls on Viking-made dragon-riding trainers that reach heights of up to 67 feet.
Fyre Drill
Get ready for a wet-and-wild boat battle in this thrilling attraction, where you’ll compete against fellow Vikings in a quest to douse raging fires.
Viking Training Camp
Climb, slide, and explore your way through this sprawling interactive play camp, learning everything you need to know about dragons and what it takes to be a true Viking warrior.
