“At Walt Disney World Resort, we know how important it is to give guests options so they can plan their visit in a way that’s right for them. As we continue to grow, we’re introducing a new ticket add-on – the “Water Park and Sports Option” – to help Guests discover more of our offerings at a great value!”
The Water Park and Sports Option, available for $70 plus tax, allows guests to choose between enjoying the splashiest thrills at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon or Disney’s Blizzard Beach, living their basketball dreams at The NBA Experience, attending events at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and testing their abilities at golf or FootGolf at Disney’s Oak Trail golf course or miniature golf.
The total number of admissions you will receive with this option is based on the length of your theme park ticket. For example, with a 3-day ticket that includes the Water Park and Sports Option, guests will receive three visits to any of these locations. And, it’s flexible! Guests can use all their admissions on the same day or repeat the same experience across multiple days.
Walt Disney World Resort is bustling with excitement right now, with groundbreaking lands like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Toy Story Land and Pandora – The World of Avatar, seasonal festivals and three new films at Epcot and more. And, there’s even more on the horizon this year – from Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and the “Harmonious” nighttime spectacular!
This add-on is currently available as part of a ticket-only booking, and will go on sale as part of a Walt Disney Travel Company package on Feb. 27.
If you’re still confused on what this ticket actually is, let me break it down for you. Until this ticket arrived, the only way to visit the theme parks and water parks on the same ticket was to purchase the Park Hopper Plus Ticket which can be pretty expensive. Lots of guests enjoy the 1 Park Per Day Ticket which is cheaper.
Now, you can purchase this new ticket, the Water Parks and Sports Option which is a 1 Park Per Day Ticket that includes the Water Parks and more. Essentially they just gave the 1 Park Per Day Ticket the option of Water Parks, which in my opinion, is awesome.
Park Savers is please to offer this new ticket option at a discount over gate pricing for all guests to save.
