Following suite with Disneyland Resort, Disney has announced that Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Paris and Disney Cruise Line will all cease operations Sunday March 14th.
An official statement was made on the companies Twitter feed today:
Disney Cast Members will continue to be paid during the closures which are expected to last through the rest of March.
This is the first time since 9/11 that Disneyland Resort has closed as well as Disney Cruise Line.
Walt Disney World has closed out of caution for a few days during Hurricane season but never for longer than 2-3 days.
Guests can still visit the resort hotels in the mean time as well as Disney Springs, all of which are open for now.
Guests who are needing to change their plans due to the closures should reach out to Disney or their travel agent or company who booked.
Most change fees are being waived at this time.
