Due to the shutdown of the Disney Parks, Avengers Campus, which was to debut July 2020, has been put on hold. Currently all non-essential theme park employees are not working but being paid through April 17th. Starting April 18th, many will be furloughed without pay until the parks open back up again.

Avengers Campus, which is a brand new land being built at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, is replacing what was “a bug’s land” and will include an all new Spider-Man attraction, Guardians of the Galaxy and several new dining options. It will also feature character interactions from guests favorite Marvel films.

With construction of the new land being delayed, we are expecting the current opening date of July 18th to be pushed back, sometime into late August or early September. No official announcement has been made regarding a change to this date thus far.

Guests can currently book tickets and packages to Disneyland for arrival dates of June 1st and beyond.
