Here’s the latest news from Disney:

Walt Disney World

Several announcements were made regarding donations and new ambassadors at Walt Disney World:

  • Walt Disney World announced new donations totaling $1.5 million to over 15 nonprofits across Florida
  • New ambassadors were selected for 2024-2025: Djuan Rivers and Charles LaMonica. They will serve as representatives of the resort.

Exciting updates were also shared around new entertainment and experiences:

  • A preview of the new nighttime show “Luminous” was revealed, which will debut at EPCOT in late 2023 as part of the park’s transformation.
  • Figment’s meet-and-greet returned to the Imagination Pavilion at EPCOT, causing wait times of up to 3 hours.

Disneyland

For Disneyland, new details were announced around upcoming attractions and offerings:

  • An overview was provided on the third attraction coming soon to Avengers Campus, which will be focused on Young Avengers like Ms. Marvel and Kate Bishop.
  • A first look was revealed of the Avengers Vault opening soon at Disney California Adventure, featuring Marvel props and costumes.

Tokyo Disney

At Tokyo Disney Resort, some of the latest offerings include:

  • New food items like fruit drinks, churros, and souvenir popcorn buckets.
  • New merchandise like phone cases, magnets, and ride memorabilia.
  • Construction updates on the major expansion work happening across both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.

Tokyo Disney Food, Merchandise, and Expansion

Tokyo DisneySea is getting its largest expansion ever with the new Fantasy Springs area opening in spring 2024. Fantasy Springs will include new themed areas for Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan. Some details on the new food and merchandise locations:

  • In Frozen Kingdom, there will be a counter service restaurant called Royal Banquet of Arendelle inside Arendelle Castle and a snack shop called Oaken’s OK Foods.
  • In Rapunzel’s Forest, there will be a counter service restaurant called The Snuggly Duckling themed to the tavern from Tangled.
  • In Peter Pan’s Never Land, there will be a counter service restaurant called Lookout Cookout run by the Lost Kids.
  • The new Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel will have a merchandise shop called Fantasy Springs Gifts only accessible from inside the park.

The expansion shows Tokyo Disney Resort continues to invest in new attractions and experiences. Fantasy Springs will add 4 new rides, 3 themed areas, restaurants, and a luxury hotel. This will greatly expand the offerings at Tokyo DisneySea when it opens in 2024.

Disneyland Paris

Finally, Disneyland Paris named their new resort ambassadors and previewed an updated hotel:

  • José Alfaro Navarro and Dylan Legras were selected as ambassadors for 2024-2025.
  • A new preview showroom opened showing off the updated Disneyland Hotel before its grand reopening.
