Disney announced today that their biggest shopping district, Disney Springs at the Walt Disney World Resort, will begin reopening May 20th. This is the biggest announcement Disney has made concerning the reopening of their resorts since closing them in March.
Disney Springs consists of several dining and retail locations including a Rainforest Cafe, Splitsville Luxury Lane, Ghirardelli Ice Cream Shop, UNICLO and more.
The opening will be done in phases so not all retail and dining locations will open on May 20th. Guidelines will include employees getting their temperature checked before starting shifts, wearing gloves and masks and having hand sanitizing stations readily available. Guests will also be expected to social distance as they walk around and while they dine.
No details as to how parking will work and what entrances will be utilized. Hours and capacity will be limited. Be sure to check back for more details by following Park Savers on Apple News.
