Today the Walt Disney World Resort introduced the Disney Dining Promo Card, a dining offer that comes with the booking of a vacation package for select dates. The Promo Card is received when guests book a hotel + ticket package during certain dates of the year in 2023. Guests stays also have to meet a minimum amount of nights.
The Promo Card value is dependent on the time you stay, the number of nights you stay and the category of hotel you’re staying at. Deluxe Resorts offer the biggest Dining Promo Card while Value Resorts offer the lowest amount. $750 is the highest amount any Dining Card will go during this offer.
Unlike the old Disney Dining Plan, the new Disney Dining Promo Card offers guests flexibility to choose where they want to dine and the type of restaurant they want to dine at. Essentially the new Promo Card is a like a Disney Gift Card with some caveats.
First, once the card is used up, it cannot be refilled. Second, only certain Disney owned and operated restaurants will accept the Dining Promo Card on property. Third, the Promo Card is not active until the guest checks in to the hotel (at the hotel). After check-in, the Promo Card will be emailed to the lead guest.
The Disney Dining Promo Card can be used directly from the email it came in or can be added to any Google or Apple Wallet for easy access. Guests can also use the Dining Promo Card for Mobile Ordering at quick service restaurants.
