It was shared today by Governor Newsom of California that theme parks including Disneyland Resort will be able to reopen their gates in the 3rd phase of recovery.
While no official date has been set by Disney or the state of California, Gov. Newsom has stated that the third phase could be as soon as a month away depending on how the states numbers look.
Disneyland Resort along with other major theme parks have been closed since mid-March. It’s sister resort in Orlando has also yet to reopen though they are expected to release an opening date sometime this week.
Guests planning a Disneyland vacation may want to look at dates starting July 1st and on.
Be prepared for a lower capacity rate and possible advanced reservations like Shanghai Disneyland is doing.
Guests can also expect new regulations including masks and social distancing.
