The new option, now available in the Disneyland Mobile app, allows guests to shop and checkout without having to get in line at a register. It’s currently only be tested at the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney.
As you enter the store you’ll need to grab a designated Mobile Shopping Bag. This is where you’ll place your items and so Cast Members know that you’re shopping from the mobile app.
Next, open the app, select the Shop in Store option and start shopping to use the new service. Once you find an item you want to buy all you have to do is scan it and put it in your bag. Repeat for all items.
When you’re all done just tap Check-Out and pay for your items. Once done you’ll receive a QR Code that will be shown to a Cast Member on your way out of the store. And that’s it!
Disney hasn’t offered a timeline for where this will be available for other locations so stay tuned.
