Staying at the Disney Paradise Pier Hotel

Taking its inspiration from laidback beachfront boardwalks of yesteryear, this easygoing Disneyland hotel transports guests to the California coast without ever having to brave the brutal Los Angeles-area traffic.

Coming Soon! A Pixar-inspired Reimagining
You won’t be able to do any California dreamin’ at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel for too much longer, as Disney has announced that the Disneyland Resort’s most affordable hotel will soon undergo a Pixar-style makeover. This larger-than-life reimagining will transform the hotel with colorful touches inspired by beloved Pixar films, as well as icons like Luxo, Jr., the charming desk lamp, and the star ball.
Best of all, the renovation also brings a brand-new walkway that connects the hotel to Disney California Adventure Park – and it’s already open to hotel guests. Stay tuned for more details.
Paradise Pier Hotel Rooms
Think about all your favorite things from a day at the beach – golden sand, the sun’s rays, waves lapping the shore, maybe a Ferris wheel towering over the water on a lively boardwalk. Well, you’ll find nods to it all in rooms at Paradise Pier.

A vacation is the perfect time to splurge on a special experience. So, consider treating you and your clan to a stay in a Paradise Pier club-level room. Offering all the same amenities as standard guestrooms along with access to the Beachcomber Club on the hotel’s second floor and personalized assistance from the concierge team, club-level rooms at Paradise Pier are a little slice of Disney luxury.
While at the Beachcomber Club, guests can enjoy a variety of light bites and drinks on and off all day long from 6:30 AM to 10 PM, including continental breakfast, snacks, wine, cheese and desserts. Paradise Pier Hotel Prices
If you’re looking for the most affordable place to stay at Disneyland, this is it. Of the three Disneyland Resort hotels, a night at the Paradise Pier Hotel costs the least, ringing in at around $100 less nightly than the Disneyland Hotel and between roughly $250 to $600 less than the luxe Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. However, that doesn’t mean that it’s cheap, since you’ll still usually pay around $250 to $600 or more per night.
Additionally, keep in mind that unless you’re a Disney Vacation Club member, parking isn’t free. (DVC members receive complimentary parking for up to two vehicles.) So, if you take your vehicle to Disney, be prepared to pay a nightly parking fee on top of your room rate.
Self-parking costs $35 per night for each vehicle, or $40 if you’re parking an oversized vehicle. Or, for those looking to splash out, you can also valet park for $50 per night.
Disneyland Paradise Pier Hotel Amenities

What kind of beach-inspired paradise would this be if there wasn’t a great pool to splash around in? Although the design of the pool is relatively simple, pops of bright colors straight off the boardwalk and an unbeatable location atop the third floor make Paradise Pool an ideal place to laze the day away – or night, especially when the sky lights up with the Disneyland fireworks and the soundtrack is piped in.
Without a doubt, the star of Paradise Pool is California Streamin’, a sunshine-yellow waterslide styled after the classic coasters of the boardwalk or oceanfront pier. For a more mellow time, unwind from all your theme park adventures with a soak in the Paradise Spa whirlpool as you watch your little ones dip their to toes in at the Children’s Pool. And while you’re there, be sure to get something tasty from The Sand Bar.
For those who prefer to get fit by running or lifting weights, The Fitness Center – found on the second floor – is equipped with everything you may need for working out at Disneyland, such as cardio machines, weight machines and free weights. And if your kids need their own mini-retreat to relax, the Paradise Theater screening room shows entertainment all day long on its special sandcastle-shaped TV, complete with beach chairs for lounging.
