EPCOT International Festival of the Arts 2018
Experience the ultimate cultural celebration as food, art and entertainment perfectly merge—returning January 12 to February 19, 2018!
The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is 3 of our favorite things rolled into one: Cuisine, Art and Entertainment. This is the 2nd year of the Festival and we’re confident the best one thus far. In its first year the Festival was only open on weekends and ran for a very short time. This year the Festival will run 7 days a week and a bit longer than last years. Plus the line-up for entertainment, workshops and art has increased so you can expect some really great offerings!
Prepare to be amazed visually and tastefully with cuisine you’ve never seen or experienced before! The cuisine of the Festival is made up of workshops, seminars and food studios. The workshops will give you hands-on experience to make food magic while being taught by culinary experts. The seminars bring in some of the top-name chefs of our generations to share experiences, teach and maybe even cook a bit for you! The food studios are done exactly like the booths at the Food and Wine Festival. Smaller booths spread across World Showcase serving up some delicious foods and drinks. This is our favorite part of the Festival!
You’ll see and experience art like never before with free seminars, galleries and hands-on workshops including watermelon carving! This years Festival will feature some renowned artists including Noah, Darren Wilson and Greg McCullough. Look for their work along with many other artists including animators and sculptors. And don’t miss the Animation Academy where you can watch and learn from some of the best animators in the business!
Prepare to be entertained with world-class song and dance with the Festival’s Broadway Concert Series featuring some of the best performers on Broadway! While the exact line-up has not been announced the performers have and we would expect to see performances from Broadway hits such as Mary Poppins, The Lion King, Tarzan, Newsies and Beauty and the Beast. Along with the Concert Series you’ll be able to see other live performances including acrobatics and feats of strength, community performances, living statues and more!
If you’re going to the festival be sure to purchase your discount Walt Disney World Tickets with Park Savers or Get Away Today. They both offer great discounts on Walt Disney World Tickets including Park Hopper and Base Tickets.
