About EPCOT Theme Park
There are two main sections to the EPCOT theme park. First is Future World, which is the front of the park. Remember the iconic ball we were talking about? This is where it’s located. There’s an actual ride in this geodesic sphere, and it’s a must-do. Future World is made up of several different attractions including Test Track, Mission: Space, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Soarin’ and more. Future World is also home to Innoventions which offers a lot of fun games and interactive experiences for guests.
The second half of EPCOT is World Showcase Lagoon. It’s home to 11 different countries, including:
- Canada
- UK
- France
- Morocco
- Japan
- American Adventure
- Italy
- Germany
- China
- Norway
- Mexico
Each country features authentic foods and merchandise from their actual country. Even the Cast Members who work there are from those countries! Each country features an attraction as well, most in the form of a film, but some like Norway and Mexico have actual rides.
EPCOT is home to many festivals throughout the year including the Food and Wine Festival, Flower and Garden Festival, Festival of the Holidays and more! Each of these festivals are included with your EPCOT tickets if you’re visiting during one of them.
