Main Street at Disneyland decorated for Halloween

Halloween is Creeping In at the Disneyland Resort!

Little by little, subtle Halloween decorations are already popping up around the park. While the kick off to the Halloween season doesn’t officially start until a few more weeks, on September 2nd, little hints from Jack Skellington himself are slowly being sprinkled about. Taking a stroll down Main Street U.S.A. you’ll see the windows are transforming into a spooktacular display with pumpkins and Halloween ears. Even Frontierland is joining in on the early festivities, with pumpkin-headed scarecrows greeting you at the entrance to Pioneer Mercantile. It’s now a very short countdown until we see the iconic Mickey Mouse pumpkin pop up in the center of Disneyland to welcome us to the park and the season of spooks.

Halloween merchandise is also lining the shelves in preparation for spooky season. In the past couple weeks we have been teased with a spirit jersey here or pumpkin bucket there, but as of Thursday morning, the Emporium officially turned the entire store into a spooktacular celebration of the season to come. New pumpkin ear caps and ghost Minnie ears are two new designs ready to make their debut on your head this year. So run to the stores on Main Street U.S.A. before the best Halloween gear is gone like a ghost.

If you can’t make it to Disneyland to beat the crowds, no need to fear that the ghosts will grab your merch before you get a chance. Head on down to your local Lowes and check out their full collection of official Haunted Mansion decor to turn your home into your very own spooky castle. This includes a light show projector and a 6ft tall hitchhiking ghost inflatable. But act fast before they disappear! The sun is soon to set on the summer days, so get your ghostly gear before the mist begins to settle for the upcoming Halloween haze.
