Happy Holidays Arrive at Walt Disney World Nov. 6th

It’s our favorite time of the year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! Starting Nov. 6th, 2020, the Walt Disney World Resort will be celebrating The Holidays with all the trimmings including trees, wreaths, garlands, lights, parades, shows, characters, food and more! While there’s still a lot of time to get ready, guests can prepare for The Holidays by booking their packages and tickets in advance to save.

2020 will be a little bit different than Holidays in the past but Disney is doing everything they can to make it a Merry one! Currently there are no scheduled firework shows at Magic Kingdom or any of the parks for that matter as Disney tries to keep crowds from forming. With the firework shows out, Disney is looking to add a bit of magic elsewhere by having multiple mini parades throughout the day.

These typically consist of about 2-3 floats, music and characters. We would expect to see Mickey, Minnie and the gang on these with the possible sighting of Santa Clause. No guarantees.

One thing we know for sure is that they won’t be skimping on decorations. Expect to see trees in all four parks with lights, garlands, wreaths, ribbon and more. Magic Kingdom may even make it snow on Main Street as guests make their way up and down.

Limited-time food will also be available for guests to enjoy. Be sure to follow us on Apple News or at parksavers.com to get a first look at what foods will be cooked up for the 2020 Holidays.
