With the announcement of the Disney100 celebration at Disneyland Resort, we were given some exciting news: Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway Attraction at Disneyland will open early for the celebration. This is exciting news as Toontown is not slated to open until Spring of 2023 for guests.
With the announcement, Disney is preparing to open just the first section of the refreshed land sometime between Jan 27th and March 2023. While they said it would “open early as we kick off the Disney100 anniversary celebration on Jan. 27”, they weren’t 100% clear if that mean’t the attraction would open Jan. 27th or just sometime with it. The Disneyland website currently still says “Spring 2023.”
