Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel To Be Reimagined To Pixar

A New Walkway Will Also Be Added To California Adventure Park

Today the Disneyland Resort announced that they will be reimagining Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel and soon become the Pixar Hotel (name is still pending). The re-theming will see everything from the exterior to rooms and the lobby completely changed to the new Pixar theme.

The reimagining of the hotel will weave the artistry of Pixar into its comfortable, contemporary setting. Guests will gain a new perspective on some of their favorite Pixar worlds and characters through carefully curated artwork, and décor that reveals the creative journey of the artists who helped bring these stories to life.

Guests will be welcomed into whimsical character moments, like the iconic, playful Pixar Lamp balancing atop its ball in the lobby (as pictured in this artist concept rendering). More news will be released at a later date.

Disney also announced that they are building a new walkway from the Pixar Hotel to California Adventure Park. While they gave no details, most likely the new entrance will be directly across the street from the hotel and either go directly into the park or lead into the Grand Californian Hotel one. If memory serves us correctly there used to be an entrance right off Disneyland Drive for guests to use. This could be the location of the new one.

Adding this walkway plus the reimagining of the hotel will be sure to put the hotel back on the map and a highly desired place to stay. Stay tuned for more news!
