Park Savers: When Is the Best Time to Go to Disneyland?

You’ve gotten advice on what Disneyland attractions to try out, and you’re pumped. You can’t wait to announce to the kids that you’re going to Disneyland soon. The question is, how soon? When exactly is the best time to go to Disney World? According to Park Savers, the spring and the fall are two of the best times to go. Here’s why.

During the spring and fall, the guest count is typically lower than it is during the summer months. Specifically, if you’re looking at the spring, try going to the park between mid-January and mid-March, or between mid-April and mid-May. Meanwhile, if you’re thinking about visiting the park during the fall, mid-September to mid-November are the best times. Also, you’ll have smaller crowds to deal with during the middle of the week — between Tuesdays and Thursdays.

When you visit during slower times, you might have shorter waits, which means you can take in more of the park. Keep in mind, though, that Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park usually decrease their hours of operation during these times. In addition, attractions might be shut down for refurbishment at these times.

If you’re more interested in visiting Disneyland when the hours are extended and when the most attractions will be open, you should go on the weekend and especially during Spring and Christmas Breaks, as well as between the months of June and August. Of course, the park will be more crowded, but if you don’t mind the crowds, these are exciting times to make memories that will last for years to come.
