Disney Removes Mask Mandate For Disney Skyliner

Today Disney announced that guests riding the Disney Skyliner starting March 16th no longer need to wear masks. The Skyliner currently transports guests from several hotels to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT Theme Parks. The mandate has been in place since the resorts reopening in Summer of 2021. This is one of the last mandates to be removed from the parks with only the monorail and buses still requiring masks. Their official statement is below:

“Beginning tomorrow, March 16, face coverings will be optional for fully vaccinated guests on the Disney Skyliner. Face coverings will also be optional for fully vaccinated Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Guests on the transport while traveling to and from the Halcyon starcruiser and Batuu.

At this time, face coverings remain required by all Guests (ages 2 and up) on monorails and Disney buses.”
