What we’re really saying here is that Genie+ is about to get more expensive based on the day you’re visiting the parks. Before, Genie+ at Walt Disney World Resort was $15 a day per person and $20 at Disneyland. However, Disney is now moving it to dynamic pricing like its Individual Lightning Lane Attractions. That is, the cost will be based on demand, sort of.
Walt Disney World will be moving to full dynamic pricing. Prices will vary each day between $15 and $22 through October but may increase afterwards. Guests will not know what the cost will be in advance as you can only purchase the service day-of.
At Disneyland, if guests purchase Genie+ in advance, they will pay $25 per person per day. However, if they decide to purchase it day-of (single day purchases) the cost will be subject to dynamic pricing which could be $25 or more.
The Disneyland Resort has also moved WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure at Disney California Adventure Park to Genie+ instead of ILL.
The Genie Service in both official apps remains free to use.
The change will take place today, Oct. 11th for both Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts.
