Outside, freshly landscaped details now adorn the site for dearly departed pets, representing their stories from beyond the grave.

Inside, a keen eye will notice a few dastardly design embellishments along the portrait hallway, including the return of an old, perhaps familiar face. One of the Mansion’s original portraits known as “April to December” once again graces the hallway. As Guests step closer to their doom buggy, they’ll see the lovely young woman aging before their eyes!

The video below highlights some of the happy haunts’ handiwork:

The updated to Haunted Mansion is one of just several that will be happening at the Disneyland Resort over the next several months and years. Starting sometime in 2021, Disneyland Parks Splash Mountain attraction will be receiving a makeover to a new “Princess and the Frog” theme. And opening June 4th at California Adventure Park is Avengers Campus which will be the first full Marvel-themed land by Disney.

Also in the lineup for Disneyland is Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway which will be added to Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland Park. It is scheduled to open sometime in 2022. For more news like this be sure to follow Park Savers on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and via our semi-weekly newsletter.
