Festival of Fantasy Parade Returns to Magic Kingdom with Two Showings a Day

Walt Disney World’s Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom returns March 9th, 2022 and will take place TWICE daily at 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM through March 12th, after which it will move to a 12 PM and 3 PM schedule, at least until April 2nd. The schedule after April 2 is not currently published. Previously the parade took place once a day so it will be interesting to see if this new twice a day schedule continues.

The parade is a tribute to Fantasyland and its inhabitants and includes not only state-of-the-art floats starring some of your favorite Disney Characters from Tangled, Peter Pan and The Little Mermaid but also music and dance.

Festival of Fantasy Parade begins in Frontierland near Splash Mountain  and runs through Liberty Square and down Main Street USA. You’ll find most anywhere along the route provides a good route, but if you choose and stand in your viewing location earlier you may get away with no one blocking your view.

The parade lasts about 12 minutes and is sure to keep you humming all day. It is outdoors and subject to inclement weather cancellation.

Park Hoppers to Magic Kingdom can happily enjoy the later showings, meaning even if you don’t have a reservation to Magic Kingdom but do have Park Hopper tickets you’ll have the opportunity to catch this parade so long as the park remains open to Hopping.

You can check the Entertainment Schedule for Magic Kingdom and other Walt Disney World theme parks in the My Disney Experience app or website.
