Pirates of the Caribbean Will Reopen July 1st at Disneyland

One of Disneyland’s most popular attractions, Pirates of the Caribbean, will reopen July 1st following a months long closure to improve its outside queue and inside refurbishments. Most outside walls have come down outside the attraction though several small sections remain closed off.

The changes to the queue area outside Pirates are suppose to help with foot traffic in front and to the side of the attraction. Previously the attractions queue stuck out into the section of the park where New Orleans Square, Frontierland and Adventureland converge.

Some of the changes include the tearing out of trees and the redoing of sidewalks. Next door, Tarzan’s Treehouse is also undergoing a refurbishment that will see the walk-through attraction be re-themed from Tarzan to Encanto.
