BREAKING: Walt Disney World Removing 6 Feet Social Distancing

As the state of Florida continues their reopening measures, it seems that the Walt Disney World is following suite. As of today, the official Disney World website had updated their COVID 19 health and safety measures for social distancing at the parks. Whereas before 6 feet was required, now there are no stated measurements for attractions and general areas.

As you can see in the image below, the website got rid of the 6 feet arrows image that was there before and has now replaced it with a simple arrow with no measurement between guests.

And when you click the READ MORE below the Physical Distancing a new section pops up that explains that physical distancing requirements are being adjusted to smaller distances but that six-feet distancing measures will continue in all dining locations, merchandise stores and in areas where guests can temporarily remove their masks.

Guide to social distancing requirements

This news comes on the heels of Disney World removing temperature checks at their parks just a few weeks ago. The previous health and safety measures required guests to receive temperature checks before entering any park of Disney Springs. They also required guests to remain 6 feet apart at all times when possible throughout the park and particularly in attraction queues and buses.

So beyond any place where guests can remove their masks and in shopping locations, it seems that Disney World will be implementing these changes pretty quickly throughout the parks.
