There are so many places where you could spend your next family vacation, but there is one place that we see as magical for the whole family to go – Disneyland.

With a number of locations across the globe, we are sure that you can find the one closest to your location and make it both cheap and extremely fun. Not only will your kids enjoy it, but also you as an adult, that grew up watching Disney movies back in the 1980s and 1990s (maybe even 1970s).

One of the most common questions is, what is the best age for Disneyland? It is something that we will be answering below. Also, we will discuss a couple of reasons why you will want to make it your next vacation destination!

Why You Should Go To Disneyland

Before we get into the debate of whether there is such a thing as too old to visit Disneyland, we want to discuss why to engage in such an experience.

First and foremost, a trip of this type doesn’t have to be expensive. On the contrary, there are many family packages that can turn out to be quite affordable. It all comes down to reserving your spot on time and using discount codes that you may be able to find all across the internet.

This is the perfect spot for a family to spend a holiday! And for the exact reason that there is no such thing as being too old for Disneyland! From fun rides to different story-tellings, you are sure to have a great time out there in the land of magic.

Hey, let’s not forget all the fun parades that you will get to experience in Disneyland. The best thing about it? Your kids will get to meet their favorite characters, including Cinderella and Mickey Mouse.

Not only that, but you also get to enjoy live shows, including Mickey Mouse, the Magical Map, and Broadway-style Frozen. You better believe that one day at the park is not going to be enough!

If you are eager about experiencing all the fun rides, then we suggest you get the advantage of the Fast Pass system. It will allow you to book your ride on time, without getting stuck in those crowded lineups. From Peter Pan Flight to Indiana Jones, you are sure to get the adrenaline rush you are hoping for!

For anyone who enjoys taking photos with beautiful backgrounds – Disneyland is the place. With a good camera and a bit of skill, you are sure to get in a snap that will allow you to resemble the fun time that your family had there!

Whether you are planning to visit Disneyland in Paris, California, or Hong Kong, one thing is sure – the weather is going to be great. If it gets too hot? There are several park attractions where you can cool down and have a drink or two.

Another thing that we love about this park is that the atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming. You are sure to enjoy the celebratory mood that is always present at Disneyland. Not only that, but the whole park is so clean and made safe for even the youngest of your crew!

Last but not least is – food. Whether you want to enjoy a hot and tasty churro or a roasted turkey leg, Disneyland is the place to go. There are a number of restaurants in which you can sit down and take the edge off! The best thing about this? Disneyland offers vegan-friendly dishes as well!

Are You Too Old For Disneyland?

If you would ask us, there is no age limit when it comes to visiting Disneyland. This is what makes this park so great as there are attractions that both adults and kids will find interesting.

As we have mentioned above, there is so much to do and see, including parades, fireworks, and all those fun rides. For this reason, we think that a visit to a Disneyland park can be quite rewarding for an adult that is overwhelmed by a stressful job and a fast-paced lifestyle.

The Best Age for First Disneyland Visit

It is quite possible that while you are planning to take your family to this magical place, it is not going to be your first visit. Bearing this in mind, one would dare to ask, what age should a newcomer be?

In our opinion, it is anything that is above 4. The main reason why we don’t consider that Disneyland is a place for infants and toddlers below this age is for a couple of reasons.

First and foremost, there is a lot of stimuli, and it can get a bit too stressful for kids of that age. Not only that, but the chances are that at that age, your child is yet to experience and meet the Disney characters. If you want them to make the most out of their Disneyland experience, then it is better if they are familiar with the theme.

For this reason, we do think that the age of 4 is perfect for someone going the first time. Frankly, while they may not satisfy the requirements for all the popular rides, they will still get to have a lot of fun and meet the main characters, which are the main attraction of this park in the first place.

If we are to discuss what is the age that your child needs to surpass to be able to attend all the rides and have the full experience of Disneyland, it would be 10. We are not saying this only because of the physical growth, but because the attention span and stamina is going to be much higher at this age.

Final Thoughts

In the end, it all comes down to planning your trip on time. Disneyland is a magical place where the whole family is sure to have fun. While there is an age limit in terms of what rides you can experience in the park, we do think that this trip can yield many benefits and beautiful memories for both kids and adults!
